With a definite post-impressionistic influence, the brushstrokes are wide and textured, and depict a tranquil park scene situated at the water's edge, with a pair of figures seated on a bench. The color palette is dominated by cooler tones, with a mauve leafed tree adding wonderful contrast. A beautiful landscape with a refined sophistication!
