English Blue Willow Serving Platter!
Lovely, larger sized oval serving platter designed by Myott Son & Co, of England, and dating to between 1936 and the early 1950's! Platter displays the classic blue willow design with the blue glaze being a lighter, paler blue. Platter also presents a thin gold metallic band to both the edge and outer surround of the pattern, which is now quite faded and hard to see. A wonderful piece that could be used and enjoyed!
Measurements / Condition:
16 1/4" long
12 1/2" wide
3.4 pounds
Platter is overall in nice vintage condition! There is quite a bit of fading to the thin gold bands and to a few areas of the pattern. There are also a few areas of mottling, appropriate for age.
