Pair of Chinese Double Happiness Vases!
Gorgeous pair of coordinating vintage Chinese "double happiness" earthenware vases! The glaze and design on each is similar making them the perfect pairing to display together! With timeless appeal, coordinating sets are not easily found and will give any space a refined and sophisticated layer of Chinoiserie.
Measurements / Condition:
each is approx, 9" tall
8" wide
6" bottom
Both vessels are very similar but not exact, given they were hand painted. Both vessels display a typical amount of mottling, paint transfer, and peppering to the stoneware. Both have the same markings on the bottom, along with residue from small felt pads that are no longer present. One of the vessels has a bit of a higher, raised rim / neck than the other. Worth noting: one of the vessels has a small hole in the stoneware, near the bottom rim / vase of piece. Photos of the imperfection is shown above.
