Vintage Oil Painting!
Full of depth and character, this wonderful vintage oil painting is signed by the artist in the lower right corner and dated '82. The artist's use of light and shadows gives wonderful depth to the unassuming facades, while the focal point of composition is a bright green leafy tree leaning from behind a tall wall. The textured brushstrokes of the leaves create a welcome contrast to the structured elements and lines of the buildings. A lovely and unique piece that has been newly framed.
Framed: 20 3/4" tall by 15 1/4" wide
Painting is in nice vintage condition with some areas of light surface wear, appropriate for age. Also, there are a few areas where surface of board is a bit bowed, which is difficult to see in photos. Painting has been custom framed and the back has been wired for ease of hanging.
