Gorgeous still life oil painting on canvas signed by the artist en verso (on reverse of canvas). The color palette is dark and intense, with the oil having a heavier layer of patina and areas of craquelure throughout giving composition depth and appealing natural richness. Painting is surrounded by a beautiful gold wood frame which appears to be original.
Framed: 27" wide by 22 1/2" tall
Painting is an oil on canvas with age appropriate wear including patina, craquelure, and light surface wear. There are no holes or tears in canvas but painting has more of an aged, rustic aesthetic. Please note there is a small gap between painting and frame, on the top right side, and as shown in photos. Back of painting has original wiring for ease of hanging.
