Vintage Oil Painting!
Beautiful architectural scene of an old fortress with a covered arched bridge, completed on board and signed by the artist in the lower right corner. Painted with the most gorgeous color palette, the artist's use of shadows and light gives the stone wonderful depth and warmth. The brushstrokes are quite textured and layered, giving an added dimension of interest and character. A marvelous composition of a historic European scene!
Framed: 19 1/2" tall by 18" wide
Painting is in lovely vintage condition with a bit of light patina to oil and some minimal surface wear to board. Painting has been signed by the artist in red, in the lower right corner, although given the nearness to edge, the frame has covered a portion of it. Painting has been custom framed, while the back is wired and ready to hang.
