Extremely charming 1940's French oil painting of a classic stone bridge over the River Seine. Soft, subtle shades and delicate brushstrokes create a delightful composition that captures a tiny glimpse of quintessential Paris. Painting is signed by the artist in the lower right corner, "R. Cherel" and dated 44'. A delightful original painting with wonderful depth and character!
Framed: 13 7/8" tall by 10 7/8" wide
Painting is in nice vintage condition, with a few spots of minimal paint wear to oil and hardboard, appropriate for age.
