Vintage Landscape Oil Painting!
Beautiful original oil painting on board depicting a winter mountain scene! Areas of creamy white snow cover the rocky terrain with peeks of fresh blue water. Short, loose brushstrokes combine into a vibrant pattern of form. Composition is a bit naive and simple, yet cohesively presents a vibrant feast for the eyes. Painting is signed "W. Wendt" in the lower right corner.
Framed: 23 1/4" wide by 19 1/4" tall
Painting is in nice vintage condition for age with a bit of light patina to oil. Painting remains in the original gold wood frame that presents more of an aged aesthetic, with areas of rubbing, surface wear, and some nicks to the wood surface. The painting is signed "W. Wendt" in the lower right corner, while "William Wendt" is written in large letters en verso.
