Enchanting small English oil on canvas depicting the tony village of Sonning, on the River Thames. A bucolic riverscape scene, painting presents the charming arched Sonning bridge with quaint village houses on the shore, and a few boats moored in the placid river. Painting does show signs of aging with fine craquelure throughout. A delightful painting that has been signed by the artist.
Framed: 13 1/2" wide by 10 1/2" tall
Painting is signed by the artist, W K Richmond in the lower left corner. Please note that as shown in photos, painting does present signs of aging including craquelure and the canvas being a bit loose. Painting has been custom framed and the back is wired and ready to hang.
